This tattoo was done in three sessions. The skull and thistles at the top are healed in this photo while the shading on the stuff below is fresh.
This tattoo was done in three sessions. Most of what you see in this photo is freshly shaded.
This tattoo was done in 3 sitting. In this photo the skull is fully healed and everything below is freshly shaded.
I did this lion tattoo in 2009. It is holding up very nicely.
Jen has been getting tattooed by me for a few years now. Lately she has been getting these little bug tattoos. They go by super fast and are really fun to do.
There was a story behind this image of a lantern and a mirror. I don’t remember what it was. If you see Rae around town maybe she will tell you. Thanks for letting me do my thing!!
I designed this flower tattoo to curve along with the shape of my client’s ribs. The shading is bold and I left a high contrast so the image can be read from great distances.
The patterns in this owl were a fun challenge for me. I especially enjoyed doing the reflections in the eyes. There is a tiny wooded landscape in there. My inner Bob Ross was smiling.

This hamsa tattoo is actually a cover up. As usual, I forgot the before picture. If you look closely you can see where the first tattoo was scarred and raised still.
I like how delicate this single rose is. The client sat amazingly will for this and it shows in the final results.
This koala bear is made up of bands of patterns and geometric shapes. The Koala and main part of the branch are healed and settled in. The The addition of the eucalyptus leaves is fresh in these photos.

The Grim Reaper is a reminder that in the end we all must die. We should not spend our lives fearing death, it’s inevitable. Instead we should live life to it’s fullest. We only get so much time.
This tattoo is in memory of a dog named Zipper.
You will probably have a hard time finding a tattoo artist who doesn’t love doing flowers. That includes myself. I love doing flowers and plants in general.
This is a stylized portrait that I did in memory of a dog named Bear. Lauren, who wears this tattoo, is in charge over at Underdog Pet Rescue. They are located just around the corner from me on Fair Oaks Ave. They are doing great things over there. If you are looking for a rescue dog or cat they are a great place to start.
This dragon and tower tattoo was a joy to create. I look forward to possibly building upon it in the future. I have a lot of ideas for where this could potentially go. Watch for more of this in the future!
This client came in with a picture of somebody else’s tattoo. After talking it over I designed a rose for them in a similar style but putting my own twist on it.
Roses never get dull for me.

These tattoos are a couple of my favorites that I have done since opening Hand And Eye Tattoo. In this photo the skull and roses on the left is healed while the mechanical skull on the right is fresh.
This is the first sitting on this leprechaun skull tattoo. Color is to be added to it at some point in the future.

Right hand devil
Sometimes simple is all you need for a memorial tattoo.
Hibiscus and daisies
I did the bio-organic panels and the tattoos on the arms. I did not do the thick black lines.
Bio-organic weirdness.

Here is a closer picture of this skull flower right after it was completed.
I really enjoy tattooing these flowers in kaleidoscopic patterns like this. They can be simple like this one or as complicated as I can imagine. The possibilities are limitless.
I try to make each rose it’s own unique thing.
This is a brain.
This tattoo was done entirely with little lines.
This ship and roses tattoo is a cover up. As you can see it is still incomplete. You can still see the old tattoo showing through in the roses and water area. There is supposed to be color in this tattoo. If the color were in place the old tattoo would disappear. If you see Bryan around bug him to finish his tattoo! This would look a thousand times better with the color in it!
You see a lot of flowers in my portfolio and it’s because I love doing them.
This skull smoking a pipe was a pleasure to tattoo. It was this client’s first tattoo and he sat very well for it.
This tattoo was a huge and ambitious project. It was originally going to be in full color. Not long after we started my client got the news that they were moving out of state so I put a rush on it. We scrapped the plans for color and did it all with crosshatching and shading.

This tattoo was a total joy to do. All of it was drawn on by hand and I completed each piece as we went. I love seeing it move on their body. If you see them out and about I am sure they will show it off for you.

This horseshoe and the tulips are on the same arm as the clock and hare.
This mask is from a video game. I believe it was Crash Bandicoot.
Here is another tattoo that I never got to complete for whatever reason. I have a lot of these floating around.
The outline for this is strong and bold and holds together on it’s own. I hope someday to shade this in as I originally intended.
This tattoo can be interpreted in two ways. You can either embrace your demons, live with them and work around them or you can fight them and bring them down. Either way, I am down with this tattoo.
This tattoo is healed and settled in in this photo. It is aging nicely.
Orchids are beautiful flowers. I can never seem to keep them alive at home though.
